Wedding & Events Singer

Bookings open for 2026/2027

About

Hi, I'm Angelou

I grew up singing every love song I could get my hands on, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin, 70s and 80s classics, belted out at every family party, the way a lot of Filipino households do. That's where it started. It grew into deeper R&B and soul at school talent shows, open mic nights, festivals, and eventually into singing at events and weddings.

I'm based in London, singing R&B, soul and jazz for weddings and events & available to travel internationally.

My style draws from artists like Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Snoh Aalegra, and Chaka Khan — soulful and live, whether it's an intimate ceremony or a full dancefloor.

Weddings: ceremony, drinks reception, first dance, evening entertainment
Events: corporate functions, private parties, live sets with band or backing tracks

I show up prepared, listen to what you want, and care about getting the details right 🤎

In Their Words

"From the ceremony to our first dance, everything felt exactly right. She learned our first dance song perfectly and read the room all evening — guests were still talking about her voice the next day. We wil forever remember those moments."

— Jenny & Adam

"We wanted something special for a milestone birthday and she completely delivered. Warm, professional, and the perfect mix of songs for the whole evening — guests are still asking who sang."

— Petter & Shivani
