Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit
A booking is only confirmed once a signed performance agreement and non-refundable deposit have been received. Dates cannot be held without both. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event (90 days for destination weddings/events).

2. Cancellation

• If you cancel more than [90] days before your event, your deposit is non-refundable, but no further payment is owed.

• If you cancel within [30–90] days of your event, the full balance may still be due, as the date will likely be unavailable to rebook.

• If I (the performer) am unable to attend due to illness or emergency, I will make every reasonable effort to arrange a suitable replacement performer. If no replacement can be arranged, a full refund will be issued for any services not delivered.

3. Travel & Accommodation
Travel within [X miles/area] is included in your package. Additional travel costs (train, flight, taxi, etc.) will be confirmed in your quote and charged at cost. Overnight accommodation may be required for venues more than [2–2.5 hours] away and will be agreed in advance.

4. Equipment & Venue Requirements
The client agrees to provide access to a power source and adequate space  at the venue. Any changes to venue access, timings, or performance space should be communicated as early as possible.

5. Song Requests
Up to two song requests outside my existing repertoire may be accommodated per booking. Requests must be confirmed no later than 2 weeks before the event to allow time for learning and rehearsal. Custom backing tracks, where required, are charged at cost (currently £35 per track).

6. Performance Times & Overruns
Performance times are agreed in advance and outlined in your booking confirmation. Any request to extend performance time on the day is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

7. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, transport strikes, illness, or venue closure. In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule or provide a suitable alternative where possible.

8. Liability & Insurance
[If you have Public Liability Insurance, state it here — e.g., "I hold Public Liability Insurance up to £X, details available on request."] I am not responsible for loss, damage, or injury arising from equipment provided by the venue or third parties.

9. Recordings & Media
Clients are welcome to take photos/videos for personal use. Any commercial use, promotional use, or public sharing of recorded performance content requires prior written consent. I may request permission to use event photos/videos for my own promotional and marketing purposes, but will always ask first.

10. Payment Methods
[State how you accept payment — bank transfer, PayPal, etc.] Late payments may result in delay or cancellation of the booking at my discretion.

11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland, if applicable to your location).
