Meet Angelou:
Why Me?
I sing R&B, Soul and Jazz, with a good dose of 70s and 80s classics thrown in. Whether it's a wedding, a birthday, or a corporate event, I care about the same thing every time: making the music feel like it belongs to that day, and building a setlist that gives guests an experience worth remembering.
That starts with a proper conversation before anything's booked — the songs that matter to you, the moments you want highlighted, the ones you'd rather keep simple.
From there, I turn up prepared: songs learned, timings sorted, so you're free to actually be in the moment instead of thinking about the music.
Every occasion is different, and I use my experience to help you build a setlist that's right for yours.
How It Started:
I grew up singing in front of family and friends at every occasion long before I ever sang professionally, every love song I could get my hands on, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, whatever 70s or 80s classic was playing, belted out at every family party, the way a lot of Filipino households do.
That's genuinely where it started.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into something more serious. The songs I grew up to led me deeper into R&B, soul and jazz; Chaka Khan, Snoh Aalegra, Jazmine Sullivan, YEBBA — the kind of voices that don't just sing a song, they sit inside it.
Eventually, singing at family parties turned into singing at every school talent show, open mics, festivals, and weddings and events instead.
What hasn't changed is the reason I do it: music has always been something I love sharing, and now I get the privilege of being part of the days that matter most to the people who book me.
Booking Process

Enquire
Fill out my online enquiry form with a few details about your day,whether that's a wedding, birthday, or event and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Quote
I'll send a tailored quote within 2–3 working days of your enquiry. If you'd like a call beforehand to talk things through, we can arrange that at a time that suits you.
(03)
Secure Your Date
Happy to go ahead? I'll send an invoice for your deposit along with a performance agreement for us both to sign. Once I've received your signed agreement and deposit, your date is secure. Please note I'm unable to hold dates without this, so do let me know if there's likely to be any delay on your end.

Planning & The Day
Closer to your date, we'll arrange a video call to go through your exact requirements. Beforehand, I'll send over my song list so you can shortlist anything you'd like included in your set. This call usually takes place around 2 months before your event — so don't worry if you don't hear from me for a little while in between, I'm always reachable if you have questions in the meantime.
Final payment is due 30 days before your event (90 days for destination weddings).
